Job Description

Have you ever wanted your own brand new classroom and have access to a well-equipped outside play area£ Our school opened its doors in September 2014 with two Reception classes and we have been on an exciting journey since then in our brand new building. We are now recruiting 2 new members of staff for our children as they move into Year 4. We can offer good career development and prospects as the school expands over the coming years. We are fortunate enough to be able to offer these positions across the key stages to suit your experience and preferences.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Teach the pupils in accordance with the curriculum and be an effective class teacher providing for the range of needs of the children within the class

• Monitor and report on pupil progress

• Ensure the safety of the children

• Support and promote the aims, objectives and Christian ethos of the school

• Be enthusiastic and ready to go with us on that extra mile

There is a great energy at our Primary School in our learning that influences our curriculum, sporting aspirations, music and daily life. Underpinning all that we do is our Christian faith and commitment to the Convention for the Rights of a Child. Our children are joyful risk takers, curious learners, intelligent thinkers, polite servants who support and are supported by one another.

As a community of parents, friends, school staff and governors we are aspiring to nurture a child who can stand tall in the world that they inhabit, committed to their welfare and promoting it.  Without doubt their future world will be very different to ours but if we walk together and see our common duty is to equip our children spiritually and with as many resources as possible. And when it is their turn, they too will take on the duty of supporting tomorrow's children.

We are all committed to each child's learning and I am pleased that this was recognised in March 2017 when the school was judged as OUTSTANDING in our first SIAMS report.  This is a great reflection of a community working together for a common purpose; our children.
