We are looking for SEN classroom and teaching assistants to support pupils living with a range of conditions (autism, BESD, Asperger’s, dyspraxia and hearing impairment are just a few of countless examples). Working 1:1, 1:2 and/or in small groups with boys and girls at early years, KS1, KS2 or Secondary level, you won’t just be enabling your SEN pupil/s – you’ll be actively helping teachers conduct lessons at their students’ usual pace.
No formal experience is needed – maybe you’re a parent, friend, or relative of a young person with special needs, for example. It’s a great ‘way in’ to a career in education – and if you’ve worked in a similar role before, so much the better!
Talk to the Teach Now team today about roles in schools local to you.
