Located in Barking, is a purpose-built nursery committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. There facility’s boasts a fantastic, expansive outdoor area designed to foster children’s development while immersing them in the wonders of nature through a forest school ethos. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and enriching learning environment for all young learners, working closely with co-workers to provide quality care, education, and support to children aged 0-5, ensuring they have the best possible start to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children’s development.

Foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.

Maintain strong communication and build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Observe and assess children’s progress, adapting activities and strategies accordingly.

Contribute to the planning and organization of events and special activities.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children and families.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in an early year setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
