About the School

We are a welcoming and inclusive non-faith school located in Barnet with an OFSTED rating of “Good” with Outstanding features. Our school, housed in a beautiful Edwardian building, serves over 400 pupils with a two-form entry system. We foster a relaxed atmosphere with a child-centered focus and are dedicated to adaptive teaching to strengthen our curriculum while balancing the workload.

Our diverse school community speaks over 50 languages and boasts excellent attendance with a range of different working abilities. We have amazing resources, including an incredible library and sports facilities, and are very sporty. We support students with special needs, including high autism, and have a dedicated ARP with a beautiful space for children. About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join our team in September 2024. This full-time position is available due to the current teacher advancing through the leadership route. You will be taking over an amazingly well-behaved Year 1 class.

Position: KS1 Class Teacher (flexible on year group)
Contract: Full-time, from September 2024 to July 2025
Opportunity: Potential for permanent position if successful
Ideal Candidate:

At least 2 years of teaching experience, although ECTs are encouraged to apply
Passion for teaching with a focus on engaging and motivating students
Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
Experience or willingness to work with Early Years
