Job Title: Reception Class Teacher

Location: Mill Hill

Job Type: 4/5 days, starting in January 2024 – July 2024, with the possibility of becoming permanent

Role Description: We are seeking a dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join our team. The current teacher has Thursdays off, and this role will involve working with a diverse and interesting class. The class includes 4 children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), all of whom have dedicated 1:1 support. While the class has an 84% EAL (English as an Additional Language) population, they are a lovely group of students who would benefit from consistency and nurturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
Provide support to children with SEN, working closely with their 1:1 support assistants.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates individuality and diversity.
Foster a love of learning in your pupils, promoting empathy, tolerance, and understanding.
Collaborate with our experienced team of Teaching Assistants and colleagues to deliver a lively and creative curriculum.
Support Early Career Teachers (ECTs) if applicable, and contribute to their development.
Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience or a willingness to work with children with SEN.
Passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a commitment to professional growth.
