Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work closely with a delightful Year 4 student who has high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The student is a pleasure to work with and does not display challenging behaviors.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing tailored support to facilitate the student’s academic and social progress. You will collaborate closely with the SENCO and the classroom teacher to create an environment that fosters learning and growth. Additionally, you will assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to suit the unique needs of the student.


Previous experience working with children with ASD or similar special educational needs.
Possess a compassionate and patient disposition.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support.
