Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Learning Support Assistant to work with a high-functioning, creative, and articulate Year 5 boy. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the student receives the support needed to thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to a Year 5 student who is verbal, creative, and articulate.
Encourage and facilitate the student’s engagement in classroom activities.
Build a strong and nurturing relationship with the student to foster trust and confidence.
Assist the student in developing social and communication skills.
Create and implement creative teaching methods to support the student’s learning journey.
Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to ensure a holistic approach to the student’s education.
Monitor and track the student’s progress and report to the relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is advantageous.
A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
Creativity and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the student’s needs.
