The Role: Joining the school in Key Stage 2 as a Class Teacher, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of students. While the specific year group is flexible and influenced by the candidate’s preference, applicants comfortable teaching in Year 3, 4, or 5 are encouraged to apply. Supported by experienced parallel teachers and mentors, the new Class Teacher will benefit from valuable strategies for class management and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 2 students.
Collaborating with parallel teachers to develop effective teaching strategies and resources.
Building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Implementing the school’s supportive behaviour policy, including the use of a colour card scheme.
Encouraging marking during lesson time to promote staff wellbeing and work-life balance.


Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience or a willingness to teach in Key Stage 2 (Year 3, 4, or 5).
A passion for student-centred learning and collaborative teaching practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
