As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in the academic and personal development of students in KS3 and KS4. Your primary responsibilities will include providing targeted support to students, assisting in managing their behaviour, and closely following well-established procedures developed by the school. You will work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to ensure the best outcomes for every student.
Provide targeted support to students across KS3 and KS4 with special educational needs.
Collaborate with teachers, SLT, and the SENCO to implement effective strategies for student success.
Assist in managing student behaviour using proven procedures established by the school.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progress.
Qualities and Requirements:
Experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly working with special educational needs.
Strong understanding of proven behaviour management procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to the dynamic needs of the school.
Dedication to supporting students in their learning journey and personal development.
