Position: Full-Time Year 3 Class Teacher
Start Date: After February Half Term Break
Contract Type: Full-Time, Until at Least July (Potential to Continue into September)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Year 3 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. This full-time role commences after the February half-term break. Ideally you will be able to join from the end of January in order to complete a handover and meet parents. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, partnering with the Deputy Head who is experienced and will share planning for all subjects. The class consists 25 children, supported by a dedicated General Assistant. The initial contract runs until at least July, with potential continuation into September.
Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons to Year 3 students.
Collaborate with the Deputy Head in planning for all subjects.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Utilize effective classroom management strategies.
Work collaboratively with the General Assistant to support student learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in teaching Year 3 or similar age group.
Proven ability to hit the ground running and collaborate effectively.
Strong classroom management skills.
A commitment to promoting positivity, resilience, well-being, and self-esteem.
