Job Description

A SEN Teaching Assistant provides essential support to students with special educational needs, helping them thrive in the classroom. They work closely with teachers, adapting lessons and providing individualized assistance to students. They create an inclusive learning environment, assisting with academic tasks, social skills development, and emotional support. SEN Teaching Assistants collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support. With empathy and patience, they play a crucial role in promoting inclusivity and helping students overcome challenges to achieve success.

The school are looking for individuals who meet the following requirements:

-SEN experience

-Ability to motivate and encourage children

-Ability to manage children’s behaviour effectively

-Ability to support children in and out of class

-Excellent knowledge of National Curriculum
