Teach Now are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join this vibrant Primary school in Brent. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching SATs, strong behaviour management skills, and expertise in core subjects, as well as a creative and engaging teaching style.
· Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Year 6 students, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and are well-prepared for SATs exams.
· Creating engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
· Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and tracking progress towards targets.
· Promoting positive behaviour management strategies in the classroom, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
· Developing strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues, and keeping them informed of student progress and attainment.
· Using creativity and innovation to inspire and motivate students, and to make learning fun and engaging.
· Participating in staff meetings and continuing professional development opportunities.
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Year 6 and SATs
· Excellent behaviour management skills, with a positive and proactive approach to discipline
· Proven experience in planning and delivering high-quality lessons in core subjects, including Maths, English, and Science
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
· Passionate about education and committed to providing the best possible learning experience for all students
· Creative and innovative, with a range of teaching strategies and techniques to engage and motivate students
· Able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
