Position: Food Technology Teacher

Contract: Full-time / Maternity cover

Start Date: 19/02/24.

Location: Bushey, Hertfordshire

Salary: £36,745- £47,666

Hours of work: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that inspire creativity and practical skills development.

·         Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore and express their culinary talents.

·         Implement effective assessment strategies and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.

·         Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the Food Technology curriculum.

·         Maintain a safe and well-organized classroom conducive to effective teaching and learning.


·         Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

·         Specialization in Food Technology or a related subject.

·         Proven experience in delivering high-quality and innovative Food Technology lessons.

·         Strong organizational skills and effective classroom management abilities.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
