Job Description

We are excited to welcome a talented and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to our school community. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and shaping the future of our Key Stage 2 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the holistic development of all students.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies and utilize appropriate resources to facilitate learning.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular activities and initiatives.
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and community engagement efforts.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting is advantageous.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective pedagogical practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A genuine commitment to creating an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere.
  • A passion for continuous professional development and a growth mindset.
  • Successful completion of a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
