Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) at our school in Cheshunt, London. The role has opened up due to our school’s expansion and the necessity to provide additional support to our growing Key Stage 1 student body. Each class comprises approximately 25 enthusiastic young learners, fostering a dynamic and vibrant teaching environment.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with primary school-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 1.

• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of all students.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.

• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to working with young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of booster sessions and interventions to support students’ academic progress.

• Work collaboratively with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum.

• Help to manage classroom behavior and promote positive student interactions.
