About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN-TA specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder to join our team. This full-time, long-term position offers a competitive daily rate of £85-£100. The role has become available as we expand our team to better support our growing student body.

As a SEN-TA, you will work closely with a specific Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 class, typically comprising around 20 students, including those who are both verbal and non-verbal. This role stands out due to our commitment to professional development, collaborative teaching environment, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with ASD.

Application Requirements:

• Proven experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Strong understanding of SEN practices and strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD.

• Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).

• Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development.

• Employing specialised strategies to aid communication and learning for both verbal and non-verbal students.
