A Trust in the borough of Waltham Forest, who are a thriving, inclusive and successful group of specialist schools, who seek to open the world for special educational needs, are looking for a special educational needs teacher to join them immediately.

The trust is renowned for offering every child and young person the tools, skills, and confidence to move on to the next stage of their education and lives. The trust is looking for a special educational needs teacher who believes that through an enjoyable, high-quality holistic education, children and young people with different abilities can achieve their goals, enthusiastically advocating a valuable and meaningful contribution which make to society. 


  • Proof of ‘Right to Work in the UK.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education. (ECT status also accepted).
  • 3-year checkable work/education history.
  • Our compliance department consistently maintains the highest standards of vetting to ensure we continually maintain our REC Audited Education Status. All candidates who register with Teach Now will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.

Desirable but not essential experience and qualifications:

  • Vision impairment (VI)
  • Hearing impairment (HI)
  • Multi-sensory impairment (MSI)
