Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity at a wonderful school located in the heart of Barnet, offering a fulfilling role for a Nursery Assistant in the London Borough of Enfield.

The role is full-time, from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, providing an opportunity to work closely with children in a nurturing setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting in the care and supervision of children within the nursery setting.
  • Supporting the implementation of activities and learning experiences tailored to the needs of each child.

  • Actively engaging children in age-appropriate activities to encourage participation and enjoyment.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child.

Skills and qualifications required for this role include:

  • Experience working with young children, preferably within a nursery or early years environment.
  • Understanding of early childhood development principles and effective childcare practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each child.
