Job Description

Are you a committed and compassionate individual with a passion for guiding the development of young minds? A rewarding opportunity awaits a proficient Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA) to become an integral part of the team in Enfield, London, focusing on Key Stage 2 students.

Primary Roles:

  • Seamlessly collaborate with classroom educators to provide targeted support for students with special educational needs within the context of Key Stage 2.
  • Implement personalized learning plans, utilizing flexible teaching techniques to meet the unique requirements of each student.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of all Key Stage 2 students.
  • Facilitate engaging classroom activities, ensuring active participation and involvement in the learning process.
  • Establish strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals to ensure a comprehensive and cooperative approach to the developmental needs of each child.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children in an academic setting, particularly within Key Stage 2.
  • Solid understanding of special educational needs, coupled with the ability to adapt teaching methodologies accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Display patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each child.
