Job Description

Teach Now are looking for an SEND Higher Level TA to join one of their schools in Edmonton, Enfield. This is a Full Time role, to start in September 2022 until the end of the academic year. 

My client, a beautiful 5 form-entry Primary school based in Edmonton, is one that’s been known to be highly achieving and inclusive with a diverse intake of students and staff. You will be very much supported in your role and you will receive adequate training. 

The chosen candidate must be able to completely commit to the role as consistency is key.

 

The school are looking for individuals who have:

·      Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum

.     Experience working with SEND children 

.     Experience leading a class or a group of children

.    Ability to adapt plans and differentiate activities in order to cater for the different learning styles and needs of all students

·    Ability to assist and assess effectively a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level

·    Ability to be creative and manage, motivate and inspire children

.    Ability to prepare resources according to the children’s individual targets and their EHCPs 

·   Ability to liaise with multi-professionals

·  Ability to commit for the duration of the placement

·  Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning

·  Honest and compassionate

·  Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.

·  Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
