Job Description

At this primary school, we are looking for an educator who can bring their own creative ideas to our classroom and demonstrate a strong work ethic. You will join an exceptional team of teachers and TAs and you will be supported in your career and development.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified Teacher status
• At least two years of experience in teaching in a primary school setting
• A successful track record of teaching KS1
• The ability to create a learning environment which encourages creative thinking and motivation
• A commitment to developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
• The ability to use data effectively to inform teaching and learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to use assessment and feedback effectively to support pupils’ learning and progress
• An understanding of how to use technology to support teaching and learning

The successful candidate will also have a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons. You will be expected to have excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
