An exceptional school nestled in the heart of Haringey is seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to work across KS1 and KS2 intervention classes. Our school boasts a rich history, a diverse student population, and a welcoming, inclusive environment. Hours: Full-time, 8:15 am – 3:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with classroom educators to deliver targeted support for students with special educational needs in KS1 and KS2.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans using dynamic teaching methodologies to address the unique needs of each child.
  • Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment that prioritizes the social and emotional well-being of every student.
  • Engage students in stimulating classroom activities to foster enthusiasm and active participation in their educational journey.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • QTS Required 
  • Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within KS1 and KS2 intervention classes.
  • Deep understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each student.
  • Relevant training in special education is highly desirable.
