Job Description

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and shaping the future generation? An esteemed nursery in the heart of the London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive care and supervision to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Engage children in stimulating activities and play to foster their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Assist nursery staff in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning.
  • Support with daily routines including meal times, nappy changes, and rest periods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a supportive and enriching experience for every child.


  • Previous experience in a childcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards childcare and early education.
  • Possession of relevant childcare qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3
  • A diploma in Childcare and Education is desirable.
