Job Description

Teach Now are on the hunt for a talented and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher for a school community. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and shaping the future of Key Stage 2 students.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum.

·        Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the holistic development of all students.

·        Implement effective teaching strategies and utilize appropriate resources to facilitate learning.

·        Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

·        Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular activities and initiatives.

·        Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.

·        Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and community engagement efforts.

·        Uphold and promote the school’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.


·        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

·        Prior experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting is advantageous.

·        A comprehensive understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective pedagogical practices.

·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·        A genuine commitment to creating an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere.

·        A passion for continuous professional development and a growth mindset.

·        Successful completion of a Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
