Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to provide tailored support and ensure they receive a high-quality education that meets their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN in Key Stage 2.

·        Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and emotional well-being.

·        Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

·        Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

·        Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress.

·        Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and SEN training as required.

·        Contribute to the overall development and improvement of SEN provision within the school.


·        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

·        Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a Key Stage 2 setting.

·        Strong knowledge of Special Educational Needs, including strategies for supporting diverse learning needs.

·        Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

·        The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

·        Commitment to ongoing professional development.
