Job Description

An Academy dedicated to academic excellence and holistic development, is seeking a passionate and adaptable English Supply Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community and support all students in achieving their potential.



Delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5, in line with the National Curriculum

Designing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students

Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and learning

Providing timely feedback and support to students to facilitate their progress

Collaborating with fellow educators and department heads to enhance the English curriculum

Upholding the values and ethos of the Academy in all aspects of teaching and interaction with students and staff



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in English.
  • Proven track record of successful teaching experience in English at Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage diverse student groups.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic educational environment.
  • A commitment to promoting a positive learning culture and supporting student welfare.
  • Current DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
