- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Wood Technology instructor in preparing and delivering engaging lessons and practical demonstrations.
- Provide guidance and support to students during hands-on woodworking projects.
- Help maintain a safe and organized woodworking workshop environment.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of woodworking tools and equipment.
- Offer one-on-one assistance to students who may need additional support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity and skill development.
- Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources.
- Collaborate with the instructor and colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum.
- A strong background in woodworking and craftsmanship, with experience in various woodworking techniques and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a woodworking workshop.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to different teaching methods and styles.
