If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Teach Now are working with a dynamic and inclusive school located in the vibrant Borough of Hounslow, London. Committed to providing exceptional education and support to children with SEMH needs, we are seeking an experienced Behaviour Specialist to join this lovely school in the heart of Hounslow. If you have a strong background in working with students who display SEMH challenges and a proven track record of implementing effective behaviour interventions, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

·         As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for our students with SEMH needs. Your responsibilities will include:

·         Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the specific needs and challenges of each student and develop individualized behaviour support plans.

·         Intervention Implementation: Implement evidence-based behavioural interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviours, promote emotional regulation, and support students’ social development.

·         Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to behaviour management and support.

·         Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support plans, making necessary adjustments to achieve positive outcomes.

·         Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to school staff on best practices in behaviour management and SEMH support.


·         Experience: A proven track record of working with children who have SEMH needs in an educational setting.

·         Expertise: Deep knowledge of SEMH challenges, behaviour management techniques, and evidence-based interventions.

·         Empathy: A genuine passion for supporting the social and emotional well-being of children with SEMH needs.

·         Collaborative: The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

·         Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·         Adaptability: Flexibility and a willingness to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each student.
