Role Overview:

Position: PPA Cover Teacher
Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available, 8:15am – 3:30pm

  • Provide cover across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, supporting students with mixed abilities.
  • Deliver engaging and stimulating lessons based on pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring continuity in students’ learning experiences.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic progress and social-emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and supportive school community.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children, preferably across both KS1 and KS2.
  • Strong understanding of mixed-ability classrooms and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.

Salary and Benefits:
