Role Overview:

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available, 8:15am – 3:30pm
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with classroom educators to deliver targeted support for students in both KS1 and KS2, including intervention classes and those with high SEN.
  • Implement tailored learning plans and dynamic teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that promotes social and emotional well-being.
  • Actively engage students in stimulating classroom activities, encouraging participation and enthusiasm.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals to support each student’s holistic development.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Kind, compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards students’ individual needs.
  • Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally across both KS1 and KS2.
  • Deep understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Working towards a HLTA qualification or Holding one Currently

Salary and Benefits:
