Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young students with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), focusing on supporting students with anxiety. This role has become vacant due to the previous TA advancing to a new position, and offers a daily salary of £85-£100.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Specialism or significant experience in supporting students with SEMH needs, particularly anxiety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with SEMH needs.
• Develop and implement strategies to help students manage anxiety and improve their well-being.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, adapting support plans as necessary.
