Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons for Key Stage 3 students.
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation and skill development.
Plan and organize extracurricular activities, such as sports clubs and tournaments, to enhance students’ overall physical development.
Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PE with other subjects and promote a holistic approach to education.
Foster a love for physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among students.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during PE lessons and activities.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 PE in a secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and effective teaching methodologies.
Passion for promoting physical fitness, well-being, and a positive attitude toward sports and physical activity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
