Are you a dynamic and compassionate individual with a passion for early childhood education and a flair for creativity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant who embraces diverse approaches to learning . In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for young children with mild Special Educational Needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Inclusive Learning: Work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support and interventions for children with mild SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.

Proactive Engagement: Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom, encouraging active participation and a love for learning among all students.

Creative Learning: Embrace different approaches to learning by developing and implementing innovative teaching methods and activities that cater to diverse learning styles.

Individualized Support: Offer one-on-one support and guidance to students as needed, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the teaching team, parents, and external professionals to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress effectively.

Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and a caring presence for students, ensuring their well-being and confidence in their learning journey.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to inclusive practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and adaptability in designing engaging learning activities.
  • Proactive and empathetic attitude towards students with SEN.
  • Relevant educational qualifications or certifications are a plus.
  • Proof of ‘Right to Work in the UK.
  • 3-year checkable work/education history.
  • Our compliance department consistently maintains the highest standards of vetting to ensure we continually maintain our REC Audited Education Status. All candidates who register with Teach Now will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
