Position Overview: As an Exams Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and smooth running of examinations within our school. You will ensure that all examination procedures are adhered to meticulously, providing a fair and secure environment for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
- Set up examination rooms according to prescribed guidelines, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
- Verify the identity of students and distribute examination papers accurately and efficiently.
- Enforce examination regulations rigorously, maintaining a quiet and controlled environment throughout the duration of each examination.
- Monitor students to prevent any form of academic misconduct or irregularities.
- Respond promptly to any queries or issues raised by students during the examination.
- Collect completed examination papers, ensuring they are securely sealed and returned to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with the resolution of any technical or logistical issues that may arise during examinations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students and staff.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including mornings and afternoons, depending on the examination schedule.
- Prior experience in invigilating examinations is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
