Seeking a teaching assistant who has a student-cantered teaching approach that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. Ideally you will have a passion for education, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to supporting the development of young learners. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a stimulating and inclusive educational experience for their students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Help with classroom management and behaviour support.

Support students with special educational needs.

Contribute to the development of educational resources.

Assist in the organization of educational activities and events.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and patient attitude towards children’s learning and development.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity.

Desirable Skills:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant educational software and technology.
