The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to the school team, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care. This role will also include SENCO and Inclusion manager responsibilities, as well as acting as Headteacher in the Headteacher’s absence.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate a successful track record as a senior leader in a similar setting. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to share your experience and expertise with the school, and be part of the team that is helping the school to develop and progress. You will have the opportunity to lead by example and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning are achieved across the school.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to use their initiative, and have a good understanding of current educational issues. You will need to have an understanding of the national curriculum, as well as an understanding of the school’s values and ethos.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage and develop staff. You will also need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire the staff and pupils.
