Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of three children?

We are currently seeking a passionate SEN TA to join a Good primary school in Chinford, Waltham Forest, to help three children with EAL. This full-time role will start in October and is for the duration of the academic year.

This is a unique opportunity to join a successful team who are dedicated to helping children to reach their full potential. Your role will be to provide the children with the academic and emotional support they need to make progress in their studies.

As the SEN TA, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the classroom teacher to deliver an engaging and stimulating learning environment for the children
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of lessons that are tailored to the needs of the children
• Providing support with specific learning needs
• Assisting with the development of individual learning plans
• Monitoring and assessing the progress of the children
• Supporting the children with their language development

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience of working in a similar role
• A confident and patient approach to working with children
• The ability to be proactive and creative in your approach
• A good knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for helping children to reach their full potential
