Position Available: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ASAP START

Location: Barnet, London

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for supporting student success? Our client is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join an enthusiastic team at a vibrant school in Barnet, London.

Hours of Work:
8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday during term time.

Pay Structure:

HLTA: Daily Rate £100-£120
About the Role:
As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning activities within the school environment. Working closely with teaching staff, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, delivery, and assessment of educational activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement strategies that meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Contribute to the overall welfare and pastoral care of students, promoting their personal and social development.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning activities, with a commitment to student success.
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration in a school community setting.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) and relevant safeguarding training.
