Role and Responsibilities: As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic and emotional development of young learners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance
  • Conducting targeted interventions to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
  • You will also contribute to the planning and preparation of classroom activities, helping to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably in Key Stage 1.
  • A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in children’s lives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, coupled with the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, would be advantageous but not essential.
