Teach Now are currently working in a partnership with a primary school based in Islington, North London to recruit for a year 4 teaching assistant. This is a long-term role starts in from January 2022 and if for the academic year.
This primary school, nestled in the heart of Islington, was graded “good” in their most recent OFSTED report. The school has high expectations in terms or progress and achievement, behaviour and engagement to make their pupils’ ready for the next stage of their education, and to prepare them to contribute to the society. Teaching and learning is a process of co-operative team work including pupils, teachers, support staff, governors and others in wider community.
The chosen candidate must be able to completely commit to the role as continuity is key.
The school are looking for individuals that are
EYT or QTS status
Experience of working with Key Stage 2
Experience in assessing child development and planning activities to support their on-going attainment and growth
Able to commit for the duration of the placement
Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
Honest and compassionate
Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
DBS checked or happy to complete one
