Job Description

Teach Now are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Secondary Art Teacher for an all boys catholic school based in Barnet. It is a strong and vibrant environment which recognises the importance and individual needs of every pupil and member of staff. The role will be teaching all year groups from Year 7 to A Levels. They are seeking someone with specialisms in either Photography or Ceramics (or both). This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Art Teacher interested in working with a supportive school. The role is to start in January 2021 for the whole academic year with the possibility of the role continuing into the next academic year.

Qualifications are required for this role

The school are looking for individuals have:
A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE, B.Ed, BA or Cert Ed.)

Dedication and passion about secondary education and the current Art curriculum

Knowledge and understanding of how to implement the current Art Curriculum

A creative and dynamic approach to teaching and learning

An honest, understanding and compassionate attitude towards students

Excellent teaching references

Strong behaviour management skills

Eligible to work in the UK

A DBS check or happy to complete one
