Role Overview:

As a full-time Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic, social, and emotional development of upper primary students. Your expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication to teaching and learning will inspire a love of learning and equip students with the skills they need for future success.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of Key Stage 2 students, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to take risks and grow.
• Collaborate effectively with Teaching Assistants and support staff to provide targeted interventions and support, ensuring all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and guardians, maintaining open and transparent communication and involving them in their child’s educational journey.
• Contribute actively to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience or training in Key Stage 2 education, with a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
• Creativity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to fostering a love of learning in all students.
• Reflective practitioner who is committed to ongoing professional development and continually strives for excellence in teaching and learning.

Long Term – Full Time – Term Time Salary: Daily Rate £160-£210 (based on the Teacher pay scale)
