Hours of Work:
8:30-3:30PM, Term Time

Pay: SEN TA: £85-£100 Daily Rate

Job Description:

Our client, a reputable school in Colindale, is seeking an experienced SEN TA with a specialization in managing challenging behaviours. As an integral part of the SEN department, the successful candidate will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, fostering their academic and personal development.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing individualized learning plans for students with challenging behaviours.
• Providing one-to-one support and guidance to facilitate students’ engagement in classroom activities.
• Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to devise strategies for managing challenging behaviours effectively.
• Monitoring and documenting students’ progress and behaviour patterns.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
• Resilience and adaptability in managing challenging situations, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support or behavioural management (desirable)

Salary:
£85-£100 Daily Rate
