KS2 Teaching Assistant (Intervention)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Term Time)

Location: Brent, London

Pay Rate:

Teaching Assistant (TA): £85-£100 per day

Our client, a bustling primary school situated in the vibrant community of Brent, is urgently seeking an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant with specialized knowledge in Intervention. Key Responsibilities:

Delivering targeted intervention sessions tailored to the specific needs of upper Key Stage 2 students.
Collaborating closely with class teachers to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized intervention plans.
Providing ongoing support and encouragement to students as they prepare for SATs, ensuring they feel confident and equipped to excel.
Monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to maximize outcomes.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with upper Key Stage 2 students, ideally in a primary school setting.
In-depth knowledge of SATs preparation and intervention strategies to support students in achieving their academic goals.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Flexibility and resilience to navigate the challenges and pressures associated with SATs preparation.
Relevant qualifications and training in education or child development are highly desirable.
