KS2 Teaching Assistant with Intervention Experience

Hours of Work: 8:30-3:30, Term Time

Pay: £85-£100 per day

Location: Enfield

Our client, a reputable school nestled in the vibrant community of Enfield, is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant with experience in intervention to join their team. Enfield, situated in North London, boasts a rich tapestry of culture, history, and green spaces, providing an enriching backdrop for both work and leisure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in KS2, particularly focusing on intervention strategies to address individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver tailored interventions aimed at improving student progress and attainment.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of learning resources and materials for intervention sessions.
• Monitor and track the progress of students receiving intervention, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively, promoting positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
• Work closely with parents and external agencies as required to support the holistic development of students.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within KS2.
• Proven experience in implementing intervention strategies to support student learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
• A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a competitive daily rate of £80-£90, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
