SEN TA (Specializing in SEMH): £85-£100 Daily Rate

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant specializing in SEMH, you’ll have the opportunity to be a beacon of positivity and support for students facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Working alongside dedicated educators and external specialists, you’ll implement tailored interventions, foster a culture of positivity, and empower students to reach their full potential academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
• Provide personalized support and guidance to students during lessons and activities.
• Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Support students in developing social skills, emotional resilience, and effective coping strategies.
• Work closely with the SENCO and multidisciplinary team to assess student needs and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate student achievements and concerns effectively.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications or training in Special Education or SEN support
• Excellent communication, empathy, and resilience skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.
• Dedication to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and safeguarding in the school community.
