Teach Now Nominated in ‘Best Client Services’ Category for the Recruiter Awards

Empowering young talent for a bright future in education.

Since we began some fifteen years ago, we at Teach Now have been determined to be much more than an education recruitment consultancy. We’ve been developing a fresh, unique approach – we don’t merely place people in jobs; we actively nurture our candidates’ development and support them throughout their careers while building lasting relationships with schools and local authorities. And we’re very happy to announce our new Teacher Apprenticeship Scheme, which not only embodies our own commitment to nurturing young people’s development, but is also in line with the UK government’s policy to prioritise the support of young people in their journey towards employment.

A transformative opportunity for NEET 16–60-year-olds to become Teaching Assistants

It’s a way for 16–60-year-olds who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET) to transform their lives – because they can earn as they learn to become first-rate teaching assistants. The scheme aims to kickstart their careers and make their ambitions achievable.

Top-notch training with a DFE-recognised Education specialist training company

While earning as they learn and becoming valuable members of a school’s staff, our apprentices will benefit from expert guidance and training from our DFE-recognised training partners.

Invaluable, hands-on experience

In the end, though, what makes great teaching assistants (and teachers too), is real-life work in the classroom. That’s the beauty of our Apprenticeship Scheme: our apprentices learn from day one what it’s like at the ‘coal face’ alongside experienced teaching assistants and teachers. In the classroom: inspiring, informing and engaging young people. It’s the best way to develop their own professional identity, to understand how to work with young people and make a positive impact on their lives and on their school.

A cost-effective ‘win-win’ staff development solution

This is a very cost-effective way to ease staffing problems while developing young talent for the long term so that they can contribute more and more to your school and its pupils.  So, it’s a win-win for aspiring young teaching assistants, for your students and for your school.

It’s not just for the young

In the 21st century’s constantly evolving workplace, it’s important that people of all ages have access to new knowledge and skills. With that in mind, we also offer apprenticeship training to all ages – and have recently opened our programmes to people aged 60+ too.
